Coffee Booklet
Overview
Designed a multi-page booklet focused on coffee culture, emphasizing strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling. The project explored editorial design principles, including grid systems, hierarchy, and pacing, to create a cohesive and engaging reading experience.
Problem
Editorial design requires careful balance between readability, visual interest, and structural consistency. The challenge was to design a booklet that presented content in a clear and engaging way while maintaining strong visual hierarchy and pacing across multiple pages.
Approach
I developed a structured grid system to ensure consistency and alignment throughout the booklet. Typography was used as a primary design element to guide the reader and establish hierarchy between headlines, body text, and supporting content. I focused on spacing, rhythm, and layout variation to create visual interest while maintaining clarity and readability. Each page was designed to contribute to a cohesive overall narrative and reading experience.
Outcome
The final booklet presents coffee culture through a clean, modern editorial design that emphasizes readability and visual balance. The project demonstrates my ability to design structured, multi-page layouts and use typography and grid systems to create engaging editorial experiences.
